Prerequisites: Since some students are working in the computer field and already have knowledge of material in certain courses, computer science courses do not have blocks in the computer to prevent students from registering for a course that has a prerequisite. It is highly recommended that students take certain courses before, or during the same semester as, other specific courses.

For the Networking Option:

NOTE: Mix computer science courses with general education courses each semester. It is better not to wait to take all computer science courses the last two semesters. Start taking some computer science courses your first semester.

*Students planning to take ART 220 or ART 221 should take ART 121 for Humanities elective.

NOTE: Students can get second degree option by taking only the extra courses required for that option. General education and computer science core courses are the same for all four computer science degree options.
